Our Taproom is open from March until Christmas Eve each year, and is a happy, inclusive and welcoming place for all beer drinkers! Come and drink a beer with us, or buy some cans/merch for home. The taproom is also the place that we premier new beers, and pour some crazier ones that won't ever make it further into the market.

HOURS: Fri and Sat 2-8PM.

Dog friendly, Table Service (no tips needed), Card only, Disabled/unisex loo available. Brewery tours free of charge on request (subject to staffing).

Parking is on the streets around us, which are scruffy but it's free. Buses and trams all get you close, and there's a LOVELY walk down the canal or the River Don which we highly recommend: you can see kingfishers, and a lot of industrial history, a completely new, beautiful view of Sheffield. You can even stop off at the Dorothy Pax for a sustaining beer on the way.

Seating is basic, and we have a good sized outside area. You might have to share a table. Please come with coats/rain coats if you want to sit outside, we don't have much in the way of cover so if it rains we might not be able to keep you dry. 

We are Dog Friendly (with the usual caveat that you need to look after your dog and avoid dog-related chaos). We have a tiny brewery dog called Grimbold who tends to trot about making a slight nuisance of himself but usually people seem to like this. If you don't, please tell us and we will control him. Also, if you are one of the growing number of Grimbold fans, we can't guarantee he'll be around, so apologies in advance if this ruins your night! 

We have absolutely lovely staff (*unless it's Dann who serves you) who provide Table Service so you don't have to get up and linger awkwardly at the bar. You're always welcome to get up and have a wander round to see the whole place or look at our can shop or crisp selection. Just don't block the bar!

Food is limited to crisps and nuts etc, but feel free to bring a picnic or order food if you like.

If you'd like a Brewery Tour, we can usually just do this on request. Sometimes we're too busy so drop us a line beforehand if it's important. For a group tour, contact us via email and we can set up a time. We don't charge for tours and love to chat (time permitting). Dann and Martha are the owners and brewers and we usually work in the taproom alongside our fab bartenders, so you can usually just show up and meet us. (If it's important to you to meet us, send an email or text in advance.)

For non-beer drinkers, we try to maintain a good selection of cider and soft drinks. Our wine selection is, to be honest, not great. This is a brewery taproom and as such, we are very beer focussed. Apologies in advance if this is not for you.
