Fieldmouse! Small, furry, scared, cute, harvesting what she can before winter sets in. 
This particular fieldmouse is related to, but not the same as, fieldmouse’s farewell, a beer we brewed a few times in the past. That mouse was bolder, and setting off on his travels to who knows where. Our mouse is wiser, more grounded, and a bit less mad.

This beer, for those of you who are still reading, is an absolute belter in the Belgian “farmhouse” or “saison” style. What does that mean? It means spice in the aroma, a full body but with huge drinkability, fruit, cereal, and a whole that is somehow much more than its parts.

Our little mouse is struggling to make it in a field in the British countryside, where a German bat flies to and fro overhead. Try her together with Fledermaus for a ground-and-sky autumnal pairing!
